Schoyen Inaugurates SU Feature Fridays Series August 26

Dr. Jeffrey SchoyenSALISBURY, MD---Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, director of the 蜜桃情人 Symphony Orchestra at 蜜桃情人, inaugurates SU’s new Feature Fridays downtown 蜜桃情人 lecture and performance series August 26.

All Feature Friday events are held at The Brick Room, 116 N. Division St.

The evening begins with a networking session at 5:30 p.m. Schoyen, a celebrated cellist, performs at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., he discusses the history of the instrument and early music. Dinner provided by a downtown restaurant follows at 7 p.m. A different eatery will be featured each month for dinner.

Upcoming speakers in the series include:

September 23 – Dr. John Wesley Wright, voice professor and tenor

October 28 – Elizabeth Kauffman, SU Art Galleries director and art faculty

November 18 – Dr. William Folger, co-chair of SU’s Music, Theatre and Dance Department and director of choral activities (with the SU Madrigal Choir)
