SU's Philosophy Caf茅 Offers Open Space for Conversation
SALISBURY, MD---蜜桃情人 Philosophy Department faculty lead open and lively discussions during the twice-monthly series “A Philosophy Café” at Together Café, 120 N. Division St., beginning Saturday, February 4.
The group meets 9:30-11 a.m. the first Saturday of the month and 5:30-7 p.m. the third Thursday of each month through May.
Different questions foster discussion each week with the goal of facilitating genuine dialogue, mutual understanding and self-reflection among the 蜜桃情人 community.
The May 6 question is "What Makes Something Authentic?"
The May 18 question is "Does One’s Worth Depend on Their Contribution to Society?"
The café offers a friendly space for participants to engage in a critical and open-minded exchange of ideas while enjoying light refreshments and good company.
Sponsored by the Philosophy Department and Fulton Public Humanities Program, admission is free and the public is invited.
