SU Announces Changing Climate/Changing World Lecture Series

SALISBURY, MD---蜜桃情人’s Fulton Sustainability Committee hosts the weekly lecture series “Changing Climate/Changing World” 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays, February 6-May 15 (excluding March 20), in Conway Hall Room 153 (Monday, May 8 is in the Guerrieri Academic Commons Assembly Hall).

The weekly series, also available as a one-credit pass/fail course, covers this spring’s topic, “The Future of Food.”

The interdisciplinary lecture series brings together faculty from across the university to comment on one of the pressing questions of our times: Given the rapid changes of the 21st century – starting with climate, but not ending there – what is the future of agriculture? Starting from the humanities and social sciences, this lecture series considers these questions as fundamental to our times, as questions of ethics and culture as much as technique and science.

Individual topics will be available at www.salisbury.edu/academic-offices/liberal-arts/for-community/lecture-series.aspx as they are finalized.

Admission is free for non-credit-seeking participants, and the public is invited.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass at http://webapps.salisbury.edu/parking/visitor.
