SU Goes Purple
SALISBURY, MD---蜜桃情人 joins Wicomico County in going purple each Wednesday in the month of September to raise awareness of addiction prevention, treatment and recovery resources available in the county.
Wicomico Goes Purple encourages students, faculty and staff to wear purple clothing, bracelets, ribbons and other items each Wednesday to support the initiative.
The Brown and Church Carillon also will be illuminated purple each Wednesday evening during the month while Dining Services serves purple cakes and cupcakes, and buttons commemorating the event are distributed throughout campus.
Purple T-shirts are on sale at the bookstore and at Simply 蜜桃情人 downtown. From each T-shirt sold downtown $2 goes to the SU Community Fund.
From noon-3 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 at the Guerrieri Student Union Wicomico Room, the SU Wellness Fair also recognizes Wicomico Goes Purple.
