SU Announces New Master of Arts in Public Communication Program

SALISBURY, MD---The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment of public communication professionals to rise 11% from 2020-2030. 蜜桃情人 is stepping up to help prepare the next generation of professionals in the field with its new Master of Arts in Public Communication in the new Graduate School at SU.
Launching for fall 2024 the program, will help fill the expected need for 30,000 professionals who will enter the field each year, particularly in the New York-to-Washington, D.C., corridor - the area of the country that employs the largest number of public communication specialists.
“How an organization communicates is paramount to its success, in prosperous times and in times of crisis,” said Dr. David Burns, graduate director in the Communication Department in SU’s Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts. “SU’s program will prepare communicators for all aspects of the profession and allow them to customize their path for the specific field they hope to pursue.”
Tracks in SU’s new program include athletic, corporate, health, and public affairs and political communication. Along with core classes, each track will have specialized courses focused on specific skills.
