SU Commemorates National Coming Out Day October 11

SALISBURY, MD---蜜桃情人’s LGBTQ+ Alliance hosts a celebration of National Coming Out Day 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, on the Blackwell Hall Balcony.
Rain location is the Blackwell Hall Lobby.
First celebrated in the U.S. in 1988, National Coming Out Day celebrates LGBTQ+ people living their lives openly, supports those working to come out, and advocates for safety as LGBTQ+ individuals make those decisions and plans.
It is also an opportunity to reflect on what it means to be openly LGBTQ+ and how society’s understanding and expectations of coming out have changed over the years.
