The 蜜桃情人 Youth Orchestra

The 蜜桃情人 Youth Orchestra has provided unique educational and performance opportunities for young musicians since 1989. Currently made up of members ranging in age from 8th to 12th grade, the group is a full orchestra including strings, winds, brass, and percussion. The experience of playing in a full orchestra is not offered in area schools. The conductor is Dr. Jeffrey Schoyen, a Professor of Music at 蜜桃情人 and the Artistic Director of 蜜桃情人 Symphony Orchestra. SYO is supported by SU which provides rehearsal and concert space and is also supported by a Parent’s Organization as well as by local teachers and volunteers. The group has weekly rehearsals and performs two concerts a year. For further information please contact Joshua Smith.
